Skunks are very beneficial and eat mice, roaches, black widow spiders, and other "pests".

Lawns have very little value to native insects and birds, and require lots of water. Minimize lawn areas.

Oppossums eat lots of things, including snails and slugs. Too many slugs? Not enough oppossums!
